You are now listening to Leverage for Growth. Hey everybody this is Jesse P. Gilmore founder of Niche in Control and creator of the Leverage for Growth, welcome to the daily leverage edition.
Today’s topic is this “Success is a Feeling”. Sit back, relax and welcome to today’s daily leverage.
So this morning, I was doing my morning routine of stacking and reflecting on a message I got from one of our Accelerator clients earlier today that almost brought me to tears.
Before I get into it, let me give you some context
Leverage for Growth is the proprietary method that I have created to help agency owners create scalability and effectively scale their agencies while working less.
It was created as a framework about 3 years ago from taking everything that I learned from 12+ years of entrepreneurship and 5 years in corporate america to help business owners not have to deal with what I dealt with in my previous businesses
To create a business that can sustain and grow without their direct involvement
The framework became refined as I worked with 1:1 clients implementing the method and doing more of what was working and less of what wasn’t
I went through 4 different versions of the program based on this feedback and iteration process
Then when it became predictable, I made the choice to switch the business model to serve more people
In the last 6-9 months, I hired Jeremy, grew the team to 4 and created a course version, a mastermind version and refined the 1:1 coaching experience
During this pivot, I had a vision of creating a community, a book and a podcast so that I could serve more people
I have been head down building for months
Regardless of the challenges or obstacles that have come in my way as I learn new things daily
In the process of the pivot, I started to have non-agency owners go through our course called Accelerator
I wanted to see if it would be beneficial to other service based business owners that are looking to grow their business and have a life and business by design
So while we focus primarily on agency owners for our mastermind and 1:1 coaching, other business owners are being exposed to Leverage for Growth
This week, Jeremy is on a vacation and I have the entire business on me as I acquired his role for the week
I do what I am naturally good at doing and went through a massive process improvement for our podcasts, visibility and injecting scalability into our new processes
As I am one day away from completing what I had started, I woke up this morning to a message from one of our Accelerator clients named Tom
“Jesse, just a quick note to let you know that you have done a great job with this training. You should be proud of what you have achieved and its awesome to go through your insights. Tom”
For some reason, that one message almost brought me to tears
Not for any other reason that the validation that what I am doing matters
That everything that I have been building for years is impacting the lives of my clients
That the experiences, struggles, lessons and programs are serving people at high levels
I have a vision and am now on a mission to serve over 1 million business owners in the next 5 years
I am doing everything I can to get the word out and rally people around this mission
Because entrepreneurship is tough
It is not the easy way out
It requires a plan, a proven process and a long term growth strategy to build a business that can sustain and grow without your direct involvement
Is it for everybody?
No
Is it much easier when you have a plan?
Yes
That is the gift that I am giving to others
And this morning I realized that success is not something that you do
Success is not even something that you have
Success is a feeling
Success is feeling like a success in the journey
In the here and now
In the moment
I got another message after my live stream of the daily leverage podcast regarding mindset
This is from another non-agency owner Accelerator client named David
“Hey Jesse, I’m going through your course right now. Wow, it’s a lot of Value, especially for beginners like me, but I can see that work for any entrepreneur out there.
Thank you brother!”
This is why I do what I do
This is why I work my ass off to get the message out into the world
This is why I am committed to showing up consistently
Because what I am doing matters
What you do matters as well
Why is this important?
Many times as entrepreneurs, we focus 100% of our time, energy and resources towards becoming successful
It is in our nature to want more, to expand to grow
What we find so often is that success and what we want to achieve is like a horizon
When you go towards the horizon, what happens?
More horizon
The key is to work towards our dreams, our goals and our vision daily
And through doing so, feel the success that each day brings
That you are doing the work required for as long as required to win
Not win anyone else’s game
To win your own game
That is all that matters
Success is a feeling
That feeling can be felt today
Now it is time for daily leverage.
Where in your world whether in your life or business, have you been waiting for the feeling of success once you achieve what you are after?
Is it in your life with your health or body?
Is it in your life with your spirituality or self-direction?
Is it in your relationships with your spouse, partner or kids?
Is it in your business or finances or team?
Once you have located where you have been waiting for the feeling of success and you know what you need to change.
My question to you is this…
What are you willing and able to do about it today?
That is the end of our daily leverage. This is Jesse P. Gilmore and you have been listening to the Leverage for Growth podcast.
