You are now listening to Leverage for Growth. Hey everybody this is Jesse P. Gilmore founder of Niche in Control and creator of the Leverage for Growth, welcome to the daily leverage edition.

Today’s topic is this “Remembering Your Personal Legend”. Sit back, relax and welcome to today’s daily leverage.

So this morning, I was doing my morning routine of stacking and reflecting on the book I am rereading called The Alchemist.

In the yesterday’s episode, I talked about the world’s greatest lie and how it is keeping you back from living your personal legend

Today I am going to dive deeper into this concept but first I must give you some context into the story

The boy meets the old man who tells him the worlds greatest lie and then goes on to explain the Personal Legend

The Personal Legend is the thing that you always want to accomplish or achieve but get distracted or put it off until the last minute.

The personal legend wants to be realized.

The soul of the universe is fed by people’s happiness and wants the personal legend to come to life.

This is why beginner’s luck happens when a choice is made to move forward towards the personal legend.

The boy comes to realize that he is between his sheep and his treasure.

He has to decide whether to stick with something that he is accustomed to or what he wants.

He decides to sell his sheep and move forward.

The old man tells him that for the rest of his journey, he will need to make his own decisions by listening to and being aware of omens.

He gives the boy two stones, a white one and a black one.

One signifies yes and one signifies no.

He says that when he needs to make a pivotal decision to ask an objective yes or no question and then see which stone he finds.

This will help him stay connected to his personal legend while on his journey.
