You are now listening to Leverage for Growth. Hey everybody this is Jesse P. Gilmore founder of Niche in Control and creator of the Leverage for Growth, welcome to the daily leverage edition.
Today’s topic is this “Creating Space for Creativity through Systems”. Sit back, relax and welcome to today’s daily leverage.

So this morning, I was doing my morning routine of stacking and reflecting on a myth that many marketing agency owners, especially creative agency owners believe.

The myth is that through systems or standardization, creativity is lost

In other words, the only way to be creative is by reinventing the wheel each time

Today we’ll explore how implementing systems in your life and business can take care of routine tasks and free up mental space for creative thinking and strategic planning.

First, I would like to let you know my thoughts about AI and automation and where it is all leading us as humans

I believe that AI and automation will allow us as humans to work with AI to get all dull or boring tasks handled so we can operate on top of it from being more creative and strategic

Whether it is AI or simply having a process for the normal stuff in life, systems are important. Not just in business but in life

Why is it Important?
Systems are critical because they allow us to automate routine tasks, thereby reducing stress and freeing up time and mental energy for more creative pursuits. This is important for maintaining our health (body), personal growth (being), relationships (balance), and running successful businesses.

What is the Lesson?
The lesson is that systems are like the gears in a clock – they help coordinate various tasks and processes to ensure smooth operation. By setting up effective systems, you can free up space for creative thinking and strategic planning.

How to Apply it:

Body:
Set up systems for meals and exercise, like meal prepping or scheduled workouts, to ensure regularity and free up mental energy for more creative pursuits.

Being:
Develop routines for personal development activities, like reading or meditation, to ensure consistency and leave more room for creativity and innovation in other areas of life.

Balance:
Set up systems for maintaining relationships, like regular family dinners or weekly catch-ups with friends. This ensures that you spend quality time with your loved ones without having to constantly plan and think about it.

Business:
Implement systems in your business for routine tasks to ensure they get done efficiently. This not only improves the consistency of your work but also frees up your time and mental energy for strategic planning and creative thinking.

Now it is time for daily leverage.

Where in your world whether in your life or business, have you been lacking a systematic approach?

Is it in your life with your health or body?

Is it in your life with your spirituality or self-direction?

Is it in your relationships with your spouse, partner or kids?

Is it in your business or finances or team?

Once you have located where you have been lacking a systematic approach and you know what you need to change.

My question to you is this…

What are you willing and able to do about it today?
