Jesse:
You are now listening to Leverage for Growth. Hey everybody, this is Jesse P. Gilmore, founder of Niche in Control and creator of Leverage for Growth. Welcome to the Daily Leverage Edition. Today’s topic is this, clear as day, how defining your goals leads to massive action. Sit back, relax, and welcome to today’s Daily Leverage. You know, we’ve all been there before, trying to juggle a million things at once, feeling as though we’re scattered in a million different directions. It happens in life and it also happens in business. So today I want to chat with you about the power of focus, specifically on getting super clear on what you want to achieve in order for you to transform your life. So the first thing is we need to talk about the power of doing the math. I know it doesn’t sound fun, but bear with me. See, sometimes we need to cut through the noise of emotion and zero in on a single goal that would really move the needle for us. For you, it might be hitting a specific revenue target. Maybe it’s landing a certain number of clients or launching a product. Whatever it is, do the math. Figure out exactly what it would actually take in and make as a real, tangible difference in your world. And once you’ve got that goal in mind, you need to get crystal clear on what achieving it looks like. If it’s the number of clients or it’s about clients, who is your ideal client? What do they value? What motivates them? Paint a vivid picture in your mind. It’s not just about attracting the right people. It’s about avoiding wasting your precious time and energy on the wrong ones. And here’s where it gets exciting. Once you’ve got the goal and you’ve visualized how to achieve it, it’s time to put the pedal to the metal. Because the only thing that really matters is clarity. And it fuels action. You’ll find yourself designing strategies, launching campaigns, reaching out prospects all in service of that singular clear goal. It’s a game changer. And the best part is that you’ll start to see results because you’re laser focused. You’re like a laser as opposed to a flashlight. You might get some responses on your LinkedIn and Facebook posts, or you find yourself scheduling calls with potential clients who seem like a perfect fit. Maybe it’s just the feeling of forward momentum, of progress, but it’s real. It’s palatable. and it’s all because you took the time to get clear on what you wanted. So there you have it, the power of clarity. Start by identifying a single goal that can move the needle for you. And then get clear on what achieving that goal looks like. Finally, let that clarity fuel your action. Because clarity doesn’t just breed action, it breeds momentum. It gets you unstuck. So give it a shot. Define your goal. Focus your energy. and watches things start to move. So now it’s time for the daily leverage. So where in your world, whether in your life or business, have you been unclear on your goals and it has led towards not getting what you want? Is it in your life with your health and body? Is it in your life with your spirituality or self-direction? Is it in your relationships with your spouse, partner, or kids? Is it in your business, finances, or team? Once you’ve located where you’ve been unclear on your goals and you know what you need to change, my question to you is this, what are you willing and able to do about it today. That is the end of the daily leverage. This is Jesse P. Gilmore. You’ve been listening to Leverage for Growth Podcast.
