You are now listening to Leverage for Growth. Hey everybody this is Jesse P. Gilmore founder of Niche in Control and creator of the Leverage for Growth, welcome to the daily leverage edition. 

Today’s topic is this “Authenticity in a World of Filters”. Sit back, relax and welcome to today’s daily leverage.


So this morning, I was doing my morning routine of stacking and reflecting on a conversation I had with our Alliance mastermind members yesterday about mindset and sales conversations.


We have introduced hot seats into our mastermind which allow us to go very deep into topics and collaborate with each other on more profound ways and yesterdays hot seat was on a decision about which ideal client to serve and how


This led towards one of the trainings that we keep coming back to as to why people buy anything in the first place


Getting back to the basics of what makes businesses successful and what creates a product market fit 


Many times we are so focused on keeping up with the joneses and understanding the latest and greatest tech


Which leads us to lean into complexity and think that that is how you succeed in business


When in actuality, many times as the market goes towards the complexity or a more technological world


The things that stand out the most are the opposite of what everyone else is doing


In a land of AI disruption, more filters and lack of real conversations


What pierces through the noise is authenticity


Being real


Being raw


Showing emotion 


Showing yourself fully


Without filters 


Without being politically correct


Without being anything other than yourself 


In a sales conversation this means being authentic and real


Providing an opportunity for the person on the other end to be truly understood and heard


For you to be the best listener that you can be 


To tell them honestly whether they qualify for your services and whether you can actually help them


Without trying to sell them


Simply diagnosing the issue and if it is a fit, prescribing a solution if they are open to it


The conversations I have with business owners every day


This is what they experience


Someone who is 100% present and willing to listen


Authenticity and being real is your way to stand out in the market these days


In a land of filters, be filter less 


Why is this important?


Many times as entrepreneurs, we get caught up in the hype of disruption, newest technology and the complexity of life


We think that our only way to survive is to use the newest gadgets, etc. 


When in the complexity, people are looking for something different 








Accurate diagnoses of problems and solutions


Being real with each other 


This is what the world needs right now


For you to be present


When you are present, here on this moment


You give others the gift of being present as well


They slow down


And realize that the things that you are seeking 


Are right in front of you 


You just needed to be awakened to your own ability and capacity to be who you are


Without filters 


Now it is time for daily leverage.


Where in your world whether in your life or business, have you been inauthentic about where you are and how you feel?


Is it in your life with your health or body? 


Is it in your life with your spirituality or self-direction? 


Is it in your relationships with your spouse, partner or kids?


Is it in your business or finances or team?


Once you have located where you have been filtering yourself and it is time to be more authentic with others and you know what you need to change. 


My question to you is this…


What are you willing and able to do about it today?
